Unacceptable Subsidy Proofs
- This card is issued by many different states, many of which Life Wireless is not authorized to do business in, and many different subsidy benefits are deposited upon it, some of which are not Lifeline-eligible subsidies. This is unacceptable because it is not possible to determine the state in which it was issued or the type of subsidy benefits that is deposited upon it.
Notice that it while it looks similar to the Kentucky SNAP EBT card, it is missing the Commonwealth Seal of Kentucky in the upper right-hand corner:
- Similar to the Benefit Security Card, this card is also issued by many different states, many of which Life Wireless is not authorized to do business in, and many different subsidy benefits are deposited upon it, some of which are not Lifeline-eligible subsidies. This is unacceptable because it is not possible to determine the state in which it was issued or the type of subsidy benefits that is deposited upon it.
- MediCAID and MediCARE are two completely different programs. MediCAID is income-based and a Lifeline-eligible subsidy in ALL states. MediCARE, an example of which is shown here, is age-based and therefore not a Lifeline-eligible program.
